The Garden Cafe & Ice-Cream Parlour is nestled in the lush gardens of Groundworks BVI Plant Nursery, located in Pockwood Pond, the western end of Tortola.  Just a ten-minute drive from the capital, Road Town.

Garden Cafe offers a unique dining experience, the first of its kind in the Virgin Islands.  Experience dinner, in an open air, outdoor feeling dining space, while enjoy the beauty of the floral garden and the magical sound to birds chirping.  Stroll through the tropical garden, cocktail in hand, while discovering the many species of Parrots in Parrot Paradise and over 300 birds creating the most relaxing atmosphere.

Serving all day breakfast, a full menu offering with a selections of coffee drinks, local specialty and seafood dishes, locally made ice-cream, gelatos, sherbets and a ever-changing selections of baked goods and delectable desserts, prepare your taste buds for this Virgin Islands treat.  The Management Team, Chefs and staff select the best quality products, such as coffee beans from Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Italy and locally source produce (when available) to create and bring the freshest  mouthwatering selections to the table.

The Garden Cafe serves families of all ages, and provides a much needed playground for the young ones to enjoy, as the adults enjoy the romance of the scenic garden views.  Let the gentle breeze blow as children and adults alike play “peak ah boo” with the many birds such as Conyers, Ring Necks, Australian Rosellas, Lace Wings, Love Birds, Cockatiels, Doves and Quail as the sound of water trickles from water features scattered throughout the grounds.  Watch with excitement as the birds make splashes in the water features turn bird bathe.  It’s magical! It’s an experience unlike any!

Garden Cafe is the newest member of the Groundworks family, joining Groundworks BVI Plant Nursery, Garden Centre, and Landscaping, to create the perfect oasis and memorable dining experience.  Catering to events small and large, the Cafe and Private Event Center can accommodate events such as Office Parties, Weddings, Showers, Seminars and caters to groups up to 50.  Looking for the perfect location, to pop the question?
